Lavender Celebration of Graduates
The Lavender Celebration of Graduates and Award Winners is an annual event that brings our community together to honor and celebrate the remarkable individuals who have contributed to making the University of Maryland a more inclusive and supportive environment for LGBTQ+ people. This gathering is a chance for everyone—regardless of their level of involvement in the LGBTQ+ community at UMD—to come together and recognize the excellence and resilience of our graduates and award recipients. This celebration is not only a recognition of individual achievements but also a reaffirmation of our collective commitment to fostering a vibrant and inclusive campus community. We look forward to celebrating with you and honoring the contributions that make UMD a better place for all.
