Superfest Disability Film Festival Showcase

  • Event Location Unity Center Multipurpose Room
Student Experience and Disability Culture presents Superfest Disability Film Festival. For over 30 years, Superfest has offered audiences cutting-edge cinema that portrays disability through a diverse, complex, unabashed, and engaging lens.
The Student Experience and Disability Culture's Sustaining Caring Communities Series is thrilled to partner with Superfest Disability Film Festival, the world’s longest-running disability film festival, to host a hybrid film showcase on our campus. The showcase will feature 4 short films, followed by a panel with disabled artists and scholars, along with a Q&A session. This is an exciting opportunity to explore disability and culture through film made by disabled artists worldwide!

Please use the registration form to sign up. In-person capacity is limited to 50.

To promote and enable collective access, this event is scent and fragrance-free. Masks are highly recommended, though not required. Dietary need-conscious refreshments will be provided.

Co-sponsored by Bias Incident Support Services, TerrapinSTRONG Education and the LGBTQ+ Equity Center
