2nd Big Queer Photo

Join the LGBTQ+ Equity Center and students, faculty and staff from across campus for our second annual Big Queer Photo on Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 11:00am-1:00pm. Photo at 11:45am. In 2024, the inaugural Big Queer Photo brought together more than 300 students, faculty, and staff members to celebrate LGBTQ+ inclusion and community at UMD. For our second annual, we invite the entire campus community (all students, faculty, and staff) to come together to take our annual photo which serves as a symbolic display of our support for Queer and Trans Terps. 

This year's event will begin with a t-shirt hand-out and activities, then the photo will be taken at 11:45am, and we'll conclude with a community picnic. Follow the LGBTQ+ Equity Center's Rainbow Report to stay up to date about this program and more: https://lgbtq.umd.edu/get-our-newsletter.

Registration for the 2nd Annual BQP closed on April 4, 2025. Missed the registration deadline? Come to the event anyways! On the day of the event, unclaimed t-shirts will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis to unregistered participants while supplies last!
